Thanks for stopping by my blog.

As for all this post, I can relate to many of your sentiments and questions. I am such a dramatic person - I can drive myself into a frenzy of worry about how I am going to be boxed in by Ikea goods and shades of mushroom and aubergine.

But at the same time, I feel awfully entitled to a certain lifestyle (even if I have never actually lived in a way that fully expresses this entitlement).

My sister continues to warn me that it becomes more difficult once one has children. I guess we just have to keep writing, reflecting, sharing, and then perhaps doing defiant, wild things every now and then to create movement.Academic, Hopefulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17474557296107830403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220995767842596634.post-90144022903814548922009-03-17T16:55:00.000-07:002009-03-17T16:55:00.000-07:00You know, I just wrote a comment and then my compu...You know, I just wrote a comment and then my computer experienced some sort of seizure...so sorry for this lame comment Good Enough Woman. I think Baxie's point is right on, too...there's only so much energy to go around. And Petunia Face, what a positive attitude...it's inspiring! Wishing you all well during these troubled times.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220995767842596634.post-90602001087744803842009-03-16T21:00:00.000-07:002009-03-16T21:00:00.000-07:00You should totally get a tattoo of my coffee table...You should totally get a tattoo of my coffee table.

This whole experience of my downsizing is like a financial Flowers for Algernon.
