Dear Santa,
For Christmas I would like to have entirely competent administrators who effectively lead the college and make sure everything gets done. I would also like extra hours in each day so that *I* can ensure all of my work is done. And also I would like resolutions to all conflicts between the goals of the Senate and the concerns of the Union.

sadly sciDAD was just commenting on the end of the semester nonsense now that he is in admin and i noted 1. admins always seem to freak when they realize the faculty are leaving for a few weeks and 2. some really really poor planners end up in charge (which I'm pretty sure happens outside academia, but heck I'm NOT outside academia so what do I know/care about that?)
