I tried to get a picture of the lizard when she's REALLY asleep, but since her light was still on, it reflected off of the metal camera and kept catching her attention. She seems to be giving a little bit of "stink eye," which I interpret as, "If you don't have some dandelions or crickets, bugger off and let me sleep."

Amen to that! It helps when they fall asleep on you. I have a kitty on my lap at the moment and I hate to disturb her ...
HA! The picture of the lizard cracked me up!
while that grand canyon setting looks lovely, i'd much prefer to park my butt on the floor with the puppeh and have an afternoon sun nap.

Dogs know what they're about, that's for sure! I had to look twice to see the lizard - what an amazing colour.
